This is the reason why I was asking what era. There will be others, but this is my Harry Potter one XD
I know they would probably wear 1920's fashion from Britain, but I liked this idea better.

Actually a fair bit of american fashion is carried over from british fashion which is why formal shirts have collars even though they are impractical for the kind of whether most of america experiences being so much closer to the equator. I looked up 1920s british fashion and compared it the americas, there is not a substantial amount of difference between the two.
But your work is fun and I really enjoy your story, you are doing a fantastic job.
