Max was silent as she snuck back into the hospital area. She could hear snoring of those children who had been given sleeping potions. She could see the Weasley's in the space, most of them asleep in chairs, Molly asleep in a nearby bed. She swallowed as she advanced towards the group.

She glanced at George, and noted the side of his head bandaged up. She felt a twinge in her heart.

"What are you doing up?"

The question came as a surprise and she looked up to see Fred staring at her bleakly. She offered a slight shrug.

"I couldn't sleep..."

"So you came here?"

"Just..." Max said and sighed. "Can I stay here?" She asked. Fred was silent

"At least the guy was chivalrous." She thought as she pulled the scroll from under her jacket, where it had been wedged in-between her cleavage. And Benkei had thought it was a stupid idea. That's what he got for not trusting a natural woman.
