Background: Born in a different world on a different plane, Joan was born to aristocracy and splendor. She was supposed to be spoiled, a child who looked down on the lower caste members with disdain and to torment them until they antagonized back at them which would allow them to kill. But to Joan she felt that this was wrong and actually was kind to those in a lower caste. As she grew older and began to despise the world that she lived in, she joined a secret resistance that was trying to rid of the caste system completely. However many people in the upper castes began to notice her behavior and began to view her as a heretic. However before she could be tried, she accidentally entered an experimental teleporter which sent directly to Earth...and directly onto the Avengers.
