My Dear SisterNo matter how I try, I can't seem to find the right words which explain what you mean to me.
So please, be patient while I keep trying.
For so long, we were at odds with each other.
We were so caught up in our own personal situations, that we didn't really think about the   other.
Fortunately, we grew out of that habit, and continue to do so to this day.
But before we go any further, there are some things I need you to know.
I'm sorry I couldn't be a friend to you like I wanted.
I'm sorry I didn't think of your feelings more, or that you even had them.
I'm thankful you were patient with me growing up.
It tells me you cared about me long before I even realized you did.
I wish we could be even a little bit closer to one another.
I wish I didn't feel as though I'm always being taken for granted.
I also wish sometimes you could see things from my side.
I know we're different from one another.

IT's coated with a sticky paste
and never seems to leave my face.

to hide my constant wish to die.
This emptiness inside my heart
is slowly tearing me apart.
The mask I wear to hide the pain,
it's all that's left to keep me sane.
My life's a vortex in a well,
a rampant spiral down to hell.
The mask is so no one will say
"why the look of great dismay?"
It hides what I can really be,
from everyone for eternity
But light will shine through in the end
if I have the fortune to find a friend.
The mask I wear will cease to be
When I can honestly love me.
