My dog died.
I had to put my dog, Abbey, down today. I know I didn't really talk about her a lot on here, but I had her for 7 years. Yesterday I came home from work to find her unable to move or stand and she had puked several times. I got her to the Emergency Vet Clinic where she spent the night, but did not improve greatly. After taking her to another vet, they located a large mass near her liver that, with other blood work and information, they diagnosed as cancer, and given her condition, along with several other problems, there wasn't any chance of her having a full recovery. So I made the difficult decision to put her down. Abbey had been with me for 7 years, most of which she was my companion through college, job hunting, and moving for said jobs. I will miss her terribly but I take comfort that I got to say goodbye to her and she's no longer in pain.
